The Academy grew out of our frustration at not being able to find a truly welcoming, inclusive and professional venue in which to play and coach this wonderful game. My coaching pupil and good friend Gareth White wanted club players to have the same experience that professional players have. That meant providing top facilities and equipment thats available to the top players so club players can experience it.

When we learned that the snooker room at the Cobham Village Club was little used we realised that we could do just that. So we took over their snooker room, fully refurbished it, renovated the tables, upgraded the equipment and moved in. The club no longer has to worry about maintaining or developing that part of their offer – we do it all for them. They gain extra revenue from bar sales whilst we focus on giving our members what we couldn’t find anywhere else in Surrey:
